God Is Our Protector!

Deuteronomy 33:27 — the eternal God is your refuge. On the God who is our home, shelter, and rest, in whom our hearts find their deepest delight and fear no evil.

"The eternal God is your refuge…" — Deuteronomy 33:27

God is our Refuge — our Abode, our Home, our Provider, our Shelter, and our Savior. There is fullness and sweetness in Him; He is merciful and awesome. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being (Acts 17:28); in Him we are saved, we find rest, and we are secure. So when we are in the Lord, we fear no evil, for He is our shelter and our abiding refuge, our home of rest.

There we find rest after the fatigue and toil of the day; our hearts find rest in God, and our souls dwell at ease. When we are in the Lord, we can commune with Him freely, laying open all our hidden desires — for the secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and we will live to please Him (Psalm 25:14).

It is in the Lord that our hearts find their deepest delight — a joy greater than all other joys. Our love for God strengthens us, spirit and body, and we remain glad and at peace when we make God our refuge, knowing that with Him all things are possible, and that He will never leave us nor forsake us as we hold steadfastly to Him.

May the Lord God continue to keep you, meet all your needs, and perfect all that concerns you. Amen!
