If you do not understand God, you may walk away from the very favour He has for you. Understanding positions you to receive it — and no matter what you are going through right now, His favour is still available. You only need to understand Him, and position yourself to receive it.
Joseph is proof of that. Before he ever wore a Prime Minister's robes, he was hated by his own brothers, then envied, then conspired against (Genesis 37:17–18). He was stripped naked, thrown into a deep pit, and sold into slavery — twice. He was falsely accused, unjustly imprisoned, and then forgotten by the very man he had helped, left to wait in a cell while his case went unspoken for.
None of it stopped what God had for him. In spite of all these challenges, Joseph became the Prime Minister.
The journey to enjoying God's favour is not always easy. Challenges will come your way — but you must remain patient. Joseph did, and in the end, he stood in the very place God had always intended for him.
