Be Well Connected With God!

"…we have fellowship with Him…" — 1 John 1:6

If we are united by faith to Christ Jesus, then we are brought into complete fellowship with Him. We are in Him, and we are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10). What Christ loves, we should also love. He loves believers, and so should we; He loves the poor, and so should we.

Jesus Christ desires that believers will be with Him where He is, and He has opened the door to them — so we too should long to be there with Him. On the cross, one of the criminals submitted to Christ and asked Him to remember him when He came into His kingdom, and Christ opened the door of heaven to him (Luke 23:42-43).

We should pray daily, encourage souls, and draw them to Him. Let it be our desire to seek the coming kingdom, and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). It is a glorious thing to be despised for following and doing the will of the Lord God Almighty; we should not give up.

We should continue with Him in His labor — ministering to people by the word of truth and by deeds of love. Our desire, like Christ's, should be to do the will of Him who sent us and to finish His work (John 4:34). May you always do the will of God and be greatly blessed by Him. Amen!
