Focus On The Mountain Of God!

Isaiah 2:3 — let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. On rising above the cares and riches that choke the soul, and ascending from the valleys of worry to commune with God.

"…Let us go up to the mountain of the Lord…" — Isaiah 2:3

Without doubt, it is deeply beneficial to our souls to rise above this present world and fix our gaze on what heaven holds in store for us. The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches are so effective at choking out every good thing in us — leading to fear, pride, and disobedience, and to the missing of God's blessings. So let us be determined to cut down the thorns and weeds, that the heavenly seed sown in us may grow and yield a harvest.

There is no surer way to truly succeed than regular communion with God — dwelling in His presence and focusing on the things that advance His kingdom. It will be well with us indeed if we resolve to leave the valleys of fear, anxiety, worry, and fleeting worldly things, and to ascend the mountain of the Lord God Almighty. There we truly experience the joy, blessing, and fulfillment that God provides.

We need to submit ourselves fully to God, and without doubt He will take good care of us and fulfill His purpose and plan of bringing us into His kingdom, where we shall dwell with Him forever in joy, peace, and great blessing.

May the Lord God strengthen you and remove every obstacle, that you may commune with Him constantly and be greatly blessed. Amen!
