Ephesians 1:3 — He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. Chosen before the foundation of the world, given the right to become children of God, and complete in Christ.

"…who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing…" — Ephesians 1:3

Every blessing — past, present, and future — Jesus Christ bestows upon His people. Christ was His Father's first elect, and in Him God chose us, even before the foundation of the world, to be His own. From all eternity Jesus held the prerogative of sonship as the Father's only begotten and well-beloved Son; and through Him we receive adoption, regeneration, and elevation to become children of God, blessed forever. He has given us the right to become children of God (John 1:12).

The Lord gives us strong consolation, security, provision, and protection. His eyes are forever fixed on us, and we can rest assured that no one can snatch us away, nor stop His great purpose and plan for our lives as His children. The wonderful death and resurrection of the Prince of Glory are ours — for it was for us that He was afflicted.

Christ's perfect obedience, His finished atonement, His intercession, and His ascension are all ours by His love and grace. Our names are on His breastplate, and He pleads for us always, to fully reconnect us with God. We are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).

May the love of the Lord God Almighty continue to abide in you, and perfect all that concerns you. Amen!
