God's Will Is Awesome And Perfect!

Ephesians 1:11 — God works all things according to the counsel of His will. Nothing is left to chance; the God of providence is the God of grace, who perfects all that concerns you.

"…who works all things according to the counsel of His will." — Ephesians 1:11

Our belief in the Lord assures us that He has a purpose and a plan in the work of salvation. Creation itself would be nothing without His handiwork; Christ left nothing to chance when He opened the door of our salvation, just as nothing was left to chance in creation's forming. The fish in the sea and the birds of the air were made for His purpose and His pleasure.

Every bone, joint, muscle, and blood vessel is fashioned according to the design of God's infinite wisdom. God is present in all His creation, ruling over all, and ruling with grace. Without doubt, the Lord takes absolute care of us — even the hairs of our head are all numbered (Matthew 10:30). Our God who reigns in providence is the same God who reigns in grace.

God knows the end from the beginning. He weighs the mountains of grief in scales and the hills of tribulation in a balance, and He meets every need of His people by His grace, mercy, and love. It will be clearly seen by all that in His mercy God does all things according to His will, accomplishing His purpose and glorifying His name. His love and mercy are forever available — let this strengthen your faith in Him.

May the Lord God perfect all that concerns you, and make you live with Him forever. Amen!
