Increase Your Faith!

Galatians 3:26 — you are a child of God through faith, whether your faith is great or small. On the family register of the Lord, and the prayer to increase our faith (Luke 17:5).

"…you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus." — Galatians 3:26

The fatherhood of God is a great blessing to all His children. Some say, 'I wish I had great faith, so that I could be valiant.' Yet though your faith may be little, you are as truly a child of God as those of great faith. Peter and Paul, the highly favored apostles, belonged to the family of God — and so do you.

The weak Christian is as much a child of God as the strong. The strong, the feeble, and the weak are one in Christ Jesus; every believer's name is written in the same family register of the Lord. One may have more grace than another, but through Christ our heavenly Father holds the same tender, loving heart toward all who are His. Let this cheer and comfort you to draw nearer to God and say, 'My Father.'

And yet, being comforted in this, we should not be content with weak faith. Like the apostles, let us ask the Lord to increase our faith (Luke 17:5). If you would have joy and peace, be determined to grow in the Lord — He will take absolute care of you as you trust and obey Him.

May the perfect love of God cast out every fear in you, and lift you to the great height He has purposed for you. Amen!
