"Continue earnestly in prayer…" — Colossians 4:2

We are to rejoice always and pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17). Regular prayer is our good connection with the Lord. And we can be rest assured that He will answer our prayers. Whatever things that you ask in prayer, believing and you will receive them (Mark 11:24). We need to believe by putting our hope and trust in the Lord. And we can be rest assured that with God all things are possible. And He has said that He will meet all our needs and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

We should be contented, knowing that the love and mercy of God manifest in the lives of His children. And so are His power, protection and guidance. Thus we need to be prayerful. A prayerless soul is a Christless soul. Prayer is the comfort, strength and protection for a believer in Christ Jesus.

We should continue to pray to be faithful, holy, humble, loving, zealous, patient, have close communication with God and obey and serve Him faithfully. Our prayer should be our request to be an example to others, that they may see Christ in us and be encouraged. Then we will live our lives to glorify God and to please Him.

May you by the grace and power of God continue earnestly in prayer always. Amen!
